Where To Place Sponsor Signage

Gif TeeWith the contest signage Hole In One International provides as part of your insurance package, all signage must be placed at its designated hole on the golf course where the advertised prize is being given away, otherwise, it can become a liability.

But, when it comes to sponsor signs (seen here on the left) where you place them, is up to you!

That being said, when putting up sponsor signs at a golf outing, you’re obviously going to want to put them somewhere they will easily be seen.  We’ve asked avid golfer and General Manager with Hole In One International, Carlos Concha, where the best spots to place sponsor signs would be for maximum visibility and sponsor recognition.

According to Concha, “For those who plan on placing a sponsor sign at each hole out on the golf course, you’ll want to place them on the tee box – that way when the player approaches the tee from the cart, the sign is the first thing they’ll see.”

But we’re only purchasing one or two sponsor signs!  What then?

“In this case, you’d want to consider placing one —preferably a ” Sponsored By” sign – out on the first hole.  The registration table is another great location where people are bound to see the sign with your name and/or logo on it.”

Have any other questions about sponsor signs or need more ideas on what you can do to make the most of them and your golf tournament?  Feel free to send us an email or give us a call at 800-827-2249.

P.S. Selling sponsor signs is a great way to increase revenue at your tournament.

Reward Your Sponsors With Affordable Signage!

Hole In One International

With most of Hole In One International’s golf contest insurance packages, you will receive free signage so long as the necessary paperwork is received at least 10 calendar days prior to the tournament date.

What’s more, we’ll incorporate your sponsor’s logos free of charge! All we need is an emailed file of the logo (.tiff, .gif and .eps formats preferred) and your sponsor(s) will be well on the way to recognition in no time!

In case you didn’t know, all of Hole In One International’s insurance packages include one customizable target sign that contains the prize description and sponsor’s name.  All contest signs are 30×30″ and have a printed area of 11×17″ – so just remember:  if you’re sticking with text only, less is more.  You don’t want the visibility to be too small.

If auxiliary signage applies to your package (tournament formats only), you’ll also receive pre-printed signs which announce your complimentary prizes. Stakes and tee markers are included with all signage free of charge.

You’ll also want to check out the sponsor signs that available for purchase on our website, or you can also contact us and we’ll send you an order form.

Our sponsor signs are 24×30″ with a printed area of 11×17″ and are in the shape of a golf ball.  They are made of heavy-duty, weatherproof Coroplast… which means you’re able to re-use them and save yourself some money!

We have specific signs designed for closest to the pin, longest drive and straightest drive contests.  Not holding any contests and looking for signs that are a bit more generalized?  No worries – we have those too!  Logos can also be applied to these as well – just email them over!

Hole In One International Insures a Shot at Glory!

Phoenix, AZ – Have you ever wondered what it would be like to hit a shot on the famed par-3, 16th hole at the TPC Scottsdale during the Waste Management Phoenix Open?tpcshotatglory1

Two lucky golf fans (one of whom is pictured to the left), along with a host of local media personalities, Hollywood celebrities, community heroes and tournament sponsors got the chance to do exactly that a few weeks ago as they teed-it-up for charity in a unique closest-to-the-pin contest known as the “Shot at Glory”, which took place immediately following the FBR/Xerox Silver Pro-Am prior to the Waste Management Phoenix Open.Nice Sign ...

Tournament hosts, The Thunderbirds, award more than $100,000 to the celebrities’ chosen charities during this unique event. And, if any participant was lucky enough to make a hole-in-one, Hole In One International was there to pay $1,000,000 to the charity of the acemaker’s choice, thanks to Mark Hester of Hester, Heitel & Associates, Inc., who has turned to Hole In One International to insure this very special golf event for the past few years.

While no one aced Number 16 this year, musician Alice Cooper (pictured to right) won the “Shot at Glory”, picking up $40,000 for the Solid Rock Foundation. Brett Frazier from Waste Management, whose charity was Keep America Beautiful, came second, while former Phoenix police officer Jason Schechterle, whose charity is the 100 Club, came in third.AliceTees
